New to Perrysburg First Church?

You might be wondering, what's it really like at First Church? Simply stated, at Perrysburg First, we're all about Jesus and serving others before self. You won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. We don't care how you're dressed or what candidate you voted for. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of life story imaginable.

Want to know the best part? No matter what you've been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you'll find the love, grace, and forgiveness Jesus gives to everyone.

Here are a few things to help plan your first visit...

When Is Church?

Sunday is our traditional worship from 10:15 am-11:15 am.

(If you are unable to attend in-person, you can stream the service on our Facebook Page or YouTube page. Links to both can be found on the home page of our website.

What Should I Wear?

Sunday is more traditional in the sense that you will see some attendees wearing dress shirts and ties. Others wear a combination of dressy and causal. Whatever you wear, we are just thankful you are coming to worship with us!

What Can I Expect During Service?

Sunday is our traditional service which includes our Chancel Choir and the singing of traditional hymns. In total, this service is about 60 minutes in length. Each service also includes a time of welcome, singing, an offering, prayer, scripture reading, and a       hope-filled message from one of our pastors. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and is open to anyone seeking a relationship with Jesus. Children's Church is available during the service for any students Kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as Childcare and Nursery for our younger kids.

What Can My Kids Do During Service?

Sunday: We believe in families sharing in the worship experiences together, but realize that kids and adults need different experiences and explanations of the message that is being presented. This is why we invite children to start in the main worship service with their families, and are then dismissed for Children's Church after the offering. One of our adult volunteers will lead the kids up to the second floor kid's wing for the rest of their worship, and then brought back down for the closing. Children's Church is available for any students Kindergarten through 5th grade. Childcare and Nursery are also available throughout the service as well.

For the safety and security of our kids, we ask families to check-in their children at the front kiosk before they head to the sanctuary to start worship. Giving yourself an extra 8-10 minutes to complete the initial registration in our system will be helpful. After that, check-in should be easy!

*First Church has just begun using a curriculum called ORANGE that allows us to share the same message at every stage of life. To find out more about the curriculum click the button below.

We know this won't answer all the questions you may have, so we would love to connect with you more during your upcoming visit. A volunteer will be available when you arrive to answer any questions or give directions. They will be at the welcome desk to the left as you enter the front doors. We can't wait to meet you!
